Get the M523 white pills. Mallinckrodt. These 10/325 work like really well. Other generics suck.
noshitadmin –
I developed spinal stenosis in my 40s. I was brought up in an environment where you didn’t complain about aches and pains. You suck it up and push through it. As time passed, the condition grew worse and I was mega dosing things like Tylenol, Doans, Aspirin, and others. I’d take a handful at a time. Pain was driving me mad. At one point, I decided that I needed to ‘kill’ the pain. I got a very long, pointy kitchen knife, wedged it in the door jamb of my bathroom door, lined up the spot making my life unbearable, and stabbed the spot, which was stupid. At the emergency room, I was given morphine to get the pain under control. They discharged me with a pack of 5 Percocet 10/625 and told me to see my doctor. A few days later, I took it. It worked. I wasn’t pain-free, but I could function. It did make me a little tired and sweaty, so the next time I cut it in half and found I got the same level of relief. Eating something first eliminated the negative effects. To be continued…..

I took Percocet after getting my wisdom teeth removed for about a week. For pain specifically, I would give it an 8/10. The reason why I’m not giving it an 8 is because of the abuse potential. When I was on Percocet, it made me not care about anything else. I loved the euphoria more than the pain relief, which is extremely dangerous. I would not recommend taking this medication unless you absolutely have to because of the addiction and abuse potential. Stick to ibuprofen if you can. Stay away from this stuff.
noshitadmin –
I took Percocet for several years, then stopped, and just got back onto it but with a different CO. It was like it had no active ingredients, and it made me hyper and made me lose sleep. No good, like the company made fake pills.
noshitadmin –
I have been taking Percocet (Rhodes generic), and it works very well for me. Some of the other generics don’t work at all. I take the 5/325 (5 mg of oxycodone and 325 mg of acetaminophen).
noshitadmin –
I always got pain relief. Now, because of people abusing them, my doctors are afraid to prescribe them. Why does everyone have to pay for what the drug addicts do? I only take one as needed, some days I have severe pain, but because of the thousand people abusing them, I must suffer.
noshitadmin –
Doctors are so afraid of prescribing any narcotic to treat real pain. The people who need it can hardly get it. I’m on a blood thinner, so I take Percocet without anything else added. It’s a good medication for pain, but not given enough for controlling pain. I’m over 65, have medical issues, but treating the pain that goes with it doesn’t get treated properly.

These generic brands are not working. I complain with pharmacy, doc, FDA, MedWatch, anyone that will listen, even call the head pharmacy of LSU in Louisiana. They don’t care! I don’t know what else to do! Hydro’s don’t work either! I guess I go to heroin or find some fake pills from Mexico! Ha ha, everyone should file with the FDA, MedWatch, their doc, pharmacy, etc!

I’ve been taking Percocet 5/325, 1 and 1/2 times a day for a totally messed up lower back in constant levels of pain when moving. Can’t stand up straight for 10 yrs. I also periodically get back injections and take small amounts of Methocarbamol for spasms, plus occasionally Diclofenac when extremely bad. I know for a fact I will never get addicted to the Percocet. I don’t feel any ‘high’ or crave it ever. In fact, it makes me nauseous and constipated. Oddly enough, that little bit, spaced right, combined with other pain relief, allows me to get around pretty good, take care of grass cutting, etc. It does cut into the most severe pain, for example, Sciatica, when that flares up. And to be honest, it’s safer than any other alternative, especially for those of us who never crave the feeling of the drug!! To be honest, it’s overall NOT a physical feeling of well-being for me! It cuts into pain.. PERIOD!

12 years ago, I helped a so-called friend move a tablesaw, and that thing weighed 200 lbs. I weighed 150 lbs. The problem was he dropped it, and the next thing I knew, I fell on the concrete. I’ve been in pain ever since. I’ll take either Oxycodone APAP or Norco Hydrocodone any day. Like House would say, ‘life is pain, I wake up every morning with pain, I go to work in pain.’ Lumbar spondylosis in L5-S1, hurting for 12 years, then they found bone spurs with moderate stenosis. Thirty-four epidurals have not helped. It is in both cervical and lumbar areas. I’m tired of pain 24/7. When I sleep, no pain whatsoever! This medicine and Norco are 9’s to me.

I’ve been on my meds since 1997. I was in a car accident, crushed against a tree in my car. I didn’t start my meds during the craziness. Over 20 years, my pain meds keep me normal. I’ve been with the same pharmacy for about 4 years. I have never given them a problem. In the beginning of this month, he claimed to have not had my usual brand. I desperately asked him how it will affect me and is this only once. He told me it’s the same, different manufacturers, and that he hasn’t gotten any of my normal ones. I trusted his word. Then, once I tried them, I called him and complained, explaining this is not working. He also suggested I go somewhere else. I explained to him that is not right, I simply want what I know works for me. I am praying that when it’s my next pick up, he gives me what I’m supposed to have. This particular brand of Percocet has been making me sick, it’s not a mind thing, it’s physical pain. U17 are the markings on the pill. The brand is Aurolife Pharma LLC, and they do not serve their purpose. Please don’t make the same mistakes as I did. We have rights.

I do not like this medication at all. I was prescribed 10/325 after I had endometriosis excision surgery last year. I had never taken oxycodone before, and I don’t want to take it again if I have another choice. It made me feel incredibly loopy and brain foggy. It took away the pain, but the side effects were awful. I had some pills leftover because I wanted to stop taking them, but I kept them in case I needed them later. I had ankle surgery late last year and ran out of my week’s worth of meds (I took them in a week but still had a lot of pain due to tendon repair and bone shaving). I had the Percocet in my med cabinet and took half, and it was horrible. I relived the experience all over again. I don’t want this medication.
noshitadmin –
Horrible medication reduces the pain from a 10 to a 7, only lasts about two hours, then strong cravings settle in for more. This is a horrible medication, highly addictive with a little therapeutic use.
noshitadmin –
Every disc in my entire spine is damaged, all sorts of conditions with chronic pain. I’ve been on brand Percocet for 10+ years with a few years on the generics. The generics suck and don’t do much for pain as I had to keep switching between them (so long on one and then so long on the other), but the brand Percocet does work, for me anyway. I was even reduced from 5/day to 3/day and it’s still working. No addiction and no dependence, my strength is 10/325. The insurance company wants to put me on generics again, not because they care about me, it’s the cost. Quality of life, along with other meds, is better but far from great. Any side effects are outweighed by how good they work without getting high.
noshitadmin –
I have three bulging discs and a big guy at 240 lbs. The Rhodes brand of oxycodone with acetaminophen 10-325 medication is absolutely useless. It’s like taking a placebo or just a regular Tylenol. My doctor said that some people’s chemistry binds with the body’s chemicals incorrectly with the medication and makes it inert. Does zero. The other Percocet brand that starts with an M, weird name, worked to reduce pain by 50%.
noshitadmin –
If you find that this medication doesn’t help you, it could be your liver lacks the enzyme to break it down. This medication also made me feel depressed, and I actually am a very happy person, so I knew I wasn’t depressed, but couldn’t shake the feeling of flatness. Also, this medication did almost nothing for my pain from severe facet arthritis, DDD, and stenosis. I found 40 minutes later it felt like I had to take it again. Thankfully, my doctor switched me to something that does work, but I had a genetic test done for medication and found out I lack an enzyme to break the med down to the active form. I also found out that the reason for my mood problems is because this drug interacts with the Kappa receptor, which can cause dysphoria. Not great for me, but I know many people find relief with it. If you don’t or have the above experience, ask for a genetic test for pain medication. It is very helpful.

I’m a disabled veteran who has had 13 knee surgeries, of these, the removal of the patella in each knee is included, and since 2015, my right knee has been replaced 2x. I’m currently prescribed Percocet 5/325 at 2 per day. I find this medication is more than capable of controlling my pain.
noshitadmin –
I was prescribed this for pain following brain surgery. Take with food to prevent nausea. To avoid constipation, I took each dose with a stool softener and drank apple juice. Works good on the pain. But you do feel a little loopy on it.
noshitadmin –
I have been on Percocet for 16 years. I started out with low-grade Vicodin. I have taken the name brand with no problems. When they switched me to generic, I had some problems with the way they affected me, they didn’t seem to work as well. But when they switched the generic brand to another generic brand, I had an upset stomach and a very bad rash. Sometimes you have to take the name brand instead of generics, even though they say the generics are the same, they are not. I could tell the difference, but I have tried OxyContin and had a very bad itching and a rash, so I guess I’m stuck on them. I have days I take more than I’m supposed to in the morning and do without later, but the pain is so bad it’s almost suicidal.

I was given Percocet recently after knee surgery. After about the 4th dose, I felt hyper, restless, nauseous, and had a very dry mouth. The worst side effect was extreme throbbing/stabbing lower back pain. I thought it was from just laying around, but whenever I didn’t take the Percocet, I didn’t have the lower back pain. Great for pain, but for me, it’s not worth the side effects I experienced.

A lifesaver, have used them for years when in any major pain (broken or bruised ribs, broken ankle, major headache, etc.). They work miracles when taken properly. I usually take them every 4 hours to keep the pain away. 5/325.
noshitadmin –
My experience was that this was the only medicine that helped severe pelvic pain. I started on a low dose but had to take two. Two months in, my doctor agreed to raise the dose to 10 mg/325. I was worried about the amount of Tylenol. Long story short, had a hysterectomy a few months later. Took two months to wean myself off by tapering. Total, I was on Percocet for seven months.

I recently had a 9 mm and 7 mm kidney stone between my kidney and bladder. Too large to pass, so I had to have a stent placed to prevent blockage while waiting a week to go back for the procedure to break up the stones to a passable size. I had been given several types of pain meds through I.V. while in the hospital, including some that were very powerful, including Dilaudid among others. I was sent home for 5 days while waiting for the procedure and was given Percocet 10/325, 1 every 4 hours. Without it, I couldn’t have tolerated the pain. Also had very limited side effects, nothing like what the I.V. meds caused, and I felt much safer taking it versus the other more powerful meds. I would recommend this to anyone suffering from kidney stones.
noshitadmin –
Ok, so you probably want to take this with food. It made me EXTREMELY nauseous when I didn’t. Works well for pain. While many pain meds make a person sleepy, this one has the complete opposite effect on me. It made me extremely energetic/hyper. I had overwhelming urges to ‘spring clean’ the house, garage, and do things I had been putting off. The downside of that, however, is it interferes with my sleep, and I can’t take it at bedtime. It’s ok for daytime pain for me.
noshitadmin –
I was prescribed this medication after vaginal birth, 30 hours labor, and a significant episiotomy. Medicine was a life saver. I have a very low pain tolerance and had almost no pain while taking this medicine. The cons were that I was extremely constipated and mentally was very out of it and even had some light hallucinations.
noshitadmin –
Prescribed this after impacted wisdom teeth extractions. Eased pain a little, but the headache, sleeplessness, constipation, jitters, and persistent nausea aren’t worth it. Ibuprofen works much better without any side effects.
noshitadmin –
I have been on Percocet for many years, and it greatly helps my chronic pain. Without it, I wouldn’t be able to walk! Only problems I have are constipation.
noshitadmin –
I just recently got this medicine for tooth pain. As I am going to the DDS for several issues. My RX is 5/325. I’ve noticed it minimizes the pain but doesn’t take it away. I also am going through major nausea, sometimes vomiting. It makes me feel so tired and always thirsty. I may need to just stick with Motrin. I will talk to her about this when I go for my next appointment on Tuesday.

Works great for pain after knee surgery. Had a little constipation and upset stomach, but nothing too severe.

I had a drug reaction and was back in the hospital for 5-7 days and had hearing loss as a side effect.

Extreme aching throbbing lower back pain. Tried Lyrica, Cymbalta, Tramadol, Ultram, Vicodin, Flexeril, Desyrel, Trazodone, Imipramine, just to name a few with no relief, and in most cases felt worse. Had 2 injections at L4/L5 that did nothing to relieve the pain and was finally given 10/325 Percocet 1 twice a day, but I find that 1/2 twice a day allows me to function and provides relief so I can actually feel like doing things. I am disappointed that this drug is taboo, I guess because of the potential for abuse, but anyone with real pain is not taking it for the narcotic effect but so they can lead a normal life. I think the FDA and physicians that try to steer clear of prescribing it need to experience living with pain.
noshitadmin –
This made me extremely nauseated. I was not even able to keep it down, let alone benefit from any pain relief.
noshitadmin –
I find when I do take Percocet for my back problems, they really help. Stopping taking them when I’m not in pain was an issue also. For the withdrawal, I would take a few Tylenol #2 or #3. Really helped. After a week, it was all good and not much withdrawal at all.
noshitadmin –
Took the pill every six hours for two weeks after shoulder surgery to deal with the immense pain. It worked! Then I stopped one day. Big mistake. The withdrawal took a week, and I felt like going to the ER. No one told me to taper off. The pain became unbearable again, especially after physical therapy, and now I only take one an hour before PT. Bottom line, it works but is a narcotic so addiction CAN happen, and withdrawal must be executed carefully.
noshitadmin –
Prescribed for pain of a large ulcer on my foot, 10/325 x 6 a day, it definitely provided relief until I recovered (2 months). Tapering and stopping was crummy but somewhat relieved by clonidine, Neurontin, and a short course of Ativan. A potent pain med, though, definitely works!
noshitadmin –
This medication was a lifesaver after cancer surgery. I took one pill every six hours as needed, 10/325. I was able to sleep, walk, and eat after surgery. I am not taking it anymore, my doctor gave me sixty. I have thirty left, I will use those if I ever need them again.

After taking Norco 10/325 for close to 8 months, I was switched to Percocet 10/325 and what a difference! I take 4 a day and I have my life back! I was injured earlier this year and fractured my patella. Even Physical Therapy didn’t help as much as it should, because I was left with osteoarthritis in my knee. I’m now able to do chores, go places and enjoy life again thanks to no pain! Thank you Percocet.

I have many spine health issues and, as a result, experience the joys of chronic back pain. This medicine works well for moderate pain for me. I did build up a tolerance for it pretty quickly, however, which is typical for any pain medicine. Bad side effects I experienced were debilitating nausea and hot flashes when it was taken on an empty stomach. Also, the all-over ‘itchies’ when I first started taking the medicine. Both of these can be prevented by eating with the medicine and taking an antihistamine with it.
noshitadmin –
Many back injuries, as a child and adult. At 40, I had fibromyalgia, degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, and more. On 8 Advil/day, I experienced much pain. Wonderful old doc said I would blow my kidneys on Advil, so he put me on Percocet 5/325 – it really helped. Later, other MDs put me on a variety of antidepressants. They did NOT relieve my pain (some aggravated it). Side effects were monstrous; so was the withdrawal when I quit. I remain on my Percocet. After 2 decades of careful use, I now take a 10/325 dose, cut them in half and take as needed, averaging 3 pills/day. I can walk, function well, and think straight. No side effects! BEST PAIN MED EVER. My heart breaks for people in severe pain.
noshitadmin –
I was recently put on Percocet for back problems. I have periods of feeling bad, but once I take 10/325, it really helps with the pain. Still having issues with waking up in the middle of the night. I actually can live a normal life now without being in misery.

Probably one of (if not the best) pain relievers on the market when used for acute pain. Or when coupled with a long-lasting ‘around the clock’ pain reliever, it can be used for breakthrough pain.

Given this for kidney stones. Takes away the pain, helps you relax. I experience a little bit of nausea, but not severe.

I am mid-40s male and had chronic back pain, spondylosis, and degenerative disc disease for the last 5 years to where it became impossible to hardly move without being in pain. I am allergic to codeine, so the doctors tried Vicodin. I saw nothing with Vicodin except tiredness. I was asked to try Percocet 5/325 in place of the Vicodin. Not only has it helped make the pain manageable, I actually had the desire to get out of the house and do things that I have not been able to do before taking it.

Doesn’t control pain for long enough period of time. Decreases pain from 9 to 7 for 2 hours, then pain starts to increase again. Also causes nausea and dry mouth.

I have really bad back pain, and at such a young age, I take Percocet four times a day, and it allows me to sleep and work, whereas other medications just made my stomach upset. I would rate it a 9 for the relief it gives you. I honestly felt like I could not function anymore, I was in so much pain, and now I enjoy walking. I don’t have to stop every 10 minutes to catch my breath from my pain.

Great for short-term pain relief, as far as long-term, the withdrawal makes you wish you never started taking it and could manage pain without it only if necessary. Follow directions.

I have a total hip replacement and a fused ankle due to a motorcycle wreck. So far, this medicine has helped. I give it around 8.5. The side effects I have had are that it makes me sleepy, but other than that, it helps.
