I take it for GAD, which appears to have a genetic component, and my 10-day prescription lasts me for 6 months. I take the lowest dose. How it helps me is it literally makes me forget to perseverate. I take one occasionally for sleep. It is a very rare day indeed if I ever take two, or two in a week. I’m used to having GAD, so I’m able to take the meds when I feel I cannot cope with having anxiety at that moment. It also stops the constant thoughts that keep me awake at night on occasion.
